Editorial Positions:
Senior Editors: The Senior Editors are responsible for managing Cell Groups, overseeing the carriage process, and chairing Cell Group Meetings. As Senior Board members, the Senior Editors choose which papers to publish in the Law Review. The Senior Board considers for publication all papers passed up by the Cell Groups. Senior Editors work directly with the
authors to revise papers for publication.
Articles Editors: Within the Cell Groups, Articles Editors are responsible for training editors, acting as a resource to Assistant and Associate Editors as they undertake carriage of papers, and leading the discussion of the articles. When leading discussions, Articles Editors are responsible for ensuring that all papers receive a thorough and fair review, which includes both defending papers that are poorly received, and critiquing papers that are well-received. Articles Editors are responsible for reviewing the rejection letters for articles that are not passed up by the Cell Group. As well, Articles Editors are responsible for aiding Carriage Groups in preparing the “Senior Board Presentation” write-up for those articles that are passed-up (see Appendix D). Finally, Articles Editors may work with authors, Senior Editors, and the Executive Editor to revise papers for publication.
